santa cruz

in early december daniel came to visit me and we went to santa cruz. we checked out mystery spot, had lunch in downtown santa cruz, went to the boardwalk, and visited the UCSC campus.


it was daniel's first time there and I hadn't been there in years



he was really excited and wanted to do all the demonstrations :)

no seat covers

So in the Midwest I've noticed that they don't use toilet seat covers
anywhere! At the airport in Minnesota, the airport in Madison, the
lobby of the hotel, or the restrooms at epic...no seat covers!! What's
up with that? I'll have to start bringing my own. The picture was
taken of the restroom at epic.

no traffic

I've been living here for a month and driving to work and back everyday, there hasn't been traffic at all.  I was just thinking about it on the way to work today.  Another thing I noticed is that I haven't seen a CHP car and rarely see any cop cars on the street.  In fact, I havent even seen any accidents on the freeways.  I'm not sure what that means, but I love how there's no traffic!

I am in madison for epic training this week. It is my first time in Wisconsin and 20 degree weather.
